Most of the time, Technology and I are not the closest of friends. We struggle. We fight. Usually it will not do what I want it too. Often I need to be rescued. Sometimes the rescuers are 10 years old!
It is quite humiliating when my heroes come up and ask Technology to do something and it does what they ask it to. The first time. No arguments, no going to sleep, no weird things popping up to deal with.
"Really?" I sometimes ask it. "Why can't you and I get along?"
Today Technology and I had a great day! We were friendly and we didn't fight, not even once. It was nice. I did think we were going to have one argument, when `ol Tech tried to confuse me by writing blue with its red pen, but I sorted it out. I took a deep breath and I went with the flow.
As we said goodbye at the end of a really busy, but productive day, I smiled as Technology through out a challenge me by asking if I was really sure I wanted to shut it down? I did. And
was happy to know that I really did have control over Technology
