Is it possible for a human to melt?

I'd like to know, because I felt like I was this close to doing that this week.
Now don't think I'm complaining, cause I know some people are super excited to have a week of high 20˚ temperatures. I, however, having spent the majority of my time in this place, have felt oppressed.
Imagine if you will... a 27˚ day, 22 sweaty little people who have just spent 20 minutes outside is the heat at recess, then immediately had a 30 minute DPA class, and pool all of them together in a 25x20 classroom (don't quote me on the dimensions) . Can you feel the sweaty-ness? Can you smell the 'smell'? Can you even imagine?!
A $15 investment in a cool retro fan has helped some. I've noticed the students, as they 'wander' around the room, are taking the long way around to wherever they are supposed to go and are pausing in front of the fan. (I won't mention how many times I have paused there myself.)
So again, I ask... can a human melt?
