Striving for Excellence

This week Grandma Pat came with us to the School District's

Striving for Excellence Dinner.

Both H and C were receiving awards, and since each kid had to sit at their awarding school's table,

and since Dev was at an event with M and would come late, I needed back up!

So Grandma came and sat with H while I sat with C. She is such a good sport!

It was quite a posh event this year

(we have been there 2 times before with H and M)

because the Lieutenant Governor and his wife were in attendance.

H was shushed by a 'mean old lady' when she cheered for C. I was proud of H for asking that

'M-O-L',

"I thought this was a celebration?!"

Here they are again with a little more expression!

I'm so proud of these 3 kids. All of them are striving for excellence in the things they do.
