Over Easter break the girls and I had the chance to go to the big city.
While there we shopped 'til we dropped, enjoyed our king sized, sleep number beds
and visited with cousins.
On the way home we were headed out of town when we took a quick detour past this favourite place to see how it looks after it's renovation this past winter.
Beautiful!
As you can see it was wet, wet, wet and quite cold.
We knew living where we lived that we couldn't stay long with cold wet weather like that,
so off we went.
Just after we got home from our journey (and a little on the way) we had snow.
Lots of it!
Thankfully now the snow has gone.
