Today I was at the vehicle registry where C was taking his learners test.
I realized that the headphones that are used for the testing are not reused, but put in a box for recycling.
I asked the sweet parent of a former sweet student what they do with them. She asked if I wanted them for the school...
(now I need to say I am not a hoarder for those that are thinking that...)
I said sure!
She proceeded to haul 5 very full boxes out of the back room for me to take to school for the computer lab!
A quick count makes me think there are about 500 pairs of headphones in the boxes!
Can you see me at the first assembly... YOU get a pair! YOU get a pair!

We often have students who do not bring/cannot afford headphones.
What a blessing for our little school!
