colours

I've been thinking a lot about colours lately. The colour of the fall leaves, mostly yellow around these parts- but occasionally there is a beautiful showy red tree or shrub to enjoy.
The colours of the sunrise and sunset. There have been some beauties of late. Red at night- and it splashing across the corduroy clouds in pinks and orange hues. Red in the morning- bright, bold pinks and reds foretelling a beautiful day to come.
The sky. So blue. It's royalty interrupted only by popcorn white clouds. If we are lucky we will be treated to an amazing lightning show late in the midnight sky.
