juggling

Can you believe that June is practically 1/2 over? I am feeling the stress of report cards for kids I barely know and all that comes with June in a teachers world.

Our kiddos are busy and ready for school to be done. 13 days left officially. Yikes! We are all looking forward to days off.

For now, our school days are filled with field trips and activities and celebrations. Our home life is filled with church responsibilities, planning for a busy summer and trying to keep up with the needs of our house... does it ever stop getting dirty, messed up, and worn out? (I won't even get started on dishes and laundry!)

I feel like I am never home and when I am I'm struggling to juggle all of the home stuff and the work stuff I brought home so I am on top of things when I go back there. Juggling is not something I am that good at. All the balls may be in the air, but sometimes I catch them just before they fall to the ground. Sometimes I catch them after the first or second bounce. Sometimes they roll under the couch.

There is little down time, and I guess that's good. I get the critical things done and bandaid solution applied where needed.... but I like down time. My family would like me to have some down time too.

Bring on summer!!
