I can only imagine what it would be like to be the conductor of school music groups at this time of year.
I personally am NOT a music teacher, but as a parent and teacher, I have a concert tonight (for M), Wednesday (H&C), Thursday (for my school) and then next Monday for M. Whew! I'm exhausted already! I cannot image how their teachers and accompanists will feel going from place to place, school to school, day and night, for the next week or so!
HUGE Thanks! to all music people, where ever they are, for all the amazing experiences they are helping to provide for my children and for others in this area!
I have fond memories of my music experiences and know how
valuable music is in a students life. I also know how blessed we are in our school district to have orchestra starting in grade 4 and band from grade 5. The music program in the district is unlike any other.
Anywhere.
I am grateful that my kids are able to participate!
