where did the time go?

It is hard to believe I am almost done my teaching contract at school. I started a year ago in this classroom and finished last year with that class of grade 4's and I started in this class in the fall. Mrs B will come back from her maternity leave after Easter to finish off this year.

The kids are starting to make me pictures, and I am feeling the emotion now. I try to get them to keep their good wishes until later in the day, otherwise I get all teary and then have a hard time teaching...

I know the kids will be in great hands, but I will miss them and all of their craziness! And I do know I'll see them. After all, I will be subbing in the french teacher's class the first week of May, and I will be coming on the big field trip I booked to Dunvegan at the end of May!

They can't get rid of me that easily!

Here's hoping for my own classroom in the fall.

I guess I should get busy making a new resume'
