Because we share our building with another ward, the start of a new year means changing the start time for church. Last year we had 9 am church--love it! We were able to get up early have our meetings and then come home (and usually have a nap!)
This year church starts at 1 pm. Not so fun. I am definitely glad that I no longer have small children. I remember church at 1 pm was always right when they wanted to nap, but they never would at church. I'm still not a fan of late church but it usually turns out to be okay.
I am still Stake Primary President and I also teach Primary in the ward. Last year I taught the CTR 5 class. Such fun! 7 super cute, well-behaved kindergartners who loved me, and I them.
I will miss them. This is most of them, plus a couple of visitors, performing a Nativity puppet show in December.
This year I have been asked to teach the 10, yep 10, Sunbeams! Yikes. I'm sure it was just a couple of weeks ago when I joked that I was too old to handle the energy of the Sunbeams. Hmmm.
