I have been worried about some things that have been happening to my kids that I did not feel in control of. Outside influences that are affecting who they think they are and how they think they should act. Challenging their testimonies and their understanding of how things in the church, how people in the church should be. So, I have been praying. Praying to know how I should handle these situations and trials. Praying for help.
I am grateful that I was able to listen to amazing talks and testimonies yesterday and today that have helped me know some of what I need to do in my role as mother. I am particularly grateful for the message to the youth directly thanking them for being righteous even when it is hard. Encouraging them to stay on the good path they have chosen and to never feel alone because they are not. Heavenly Father is with them as they choose the right. I heard the message as if it was only being spoken to me and my family. I hope my girls heard it too. Thank you to this good Sister and to a loving Heavenly Father who answered my prayer this day.
