Friday we celebrated baby N's 1st birthday.

A year already.
It is so amazing how quickly time passes.
Last year it was bitterly cold and snowy when he was born.
Yesterday was 7 above and perfect!

Semi final Saturday was the final game for the season for our Warriors.
It was a good game even though we lost.
I won't go into the details of how frustrating the other team was
(let me just say they got a lot of unsportsmanlike conduct penalties)
and the announcer!

This was such a nice moment for me (and I know it was for M as well.)
M was upset in the team meeting after the game and her friend N saw her tears.
He quietly walked from the exact opposite side of the group to console her.
What a kind young man.
I thanked his mom.
She said we are both lucky to have such good kids.
Yes we are!
Off to our Halloween events tonight!
