My friend, Trentman

I received this email today from my friend Trish...

"Hey Leslie,
Just wanted to tell you this......
So I told Trentman that him and I were going out to see Sandi and baby Cooper (visiting teaching) and he was all excited. SO we drive out there and just as we pull in the driveway he said, "oh mom we forgot!!" I asked him what we forgot and he said " Sister Whipple!"
so funny. So I had to explain to him that now Cordy (that's what he calls Kori) would be coming with us. And he said, "Who are going to go to McDonalds with?" heehee"

Trentman. Love this little guy. He was in my sunbeam class for the week I taught (see Jan 3, 2010 post) and his Mom and I were VT companions. I would travel in their van to go Vting due to carseat needs. One day as we were getting close to MickeyD's, Trentman said in his little voice from the back seat "Can we go to McDonald's?" Mom and I looked at each other and she quickly turned in and we went. It was a fun little spur of the moment lunch and Trentman got a cool toy in his Happy meal:)
