Update

I can't believe how fast time goes...
*was sick for the weekend. So sick I left church half way through sacrament. I didn't even stay for Dev's talk. Grateful my kids can manage almost everything on their own. M and H have been great to cook, clean and tend to everything the last few days.
I was vegging out in my room somewhere between slumber and coma. I did see a few okay movies. 'One Week' was neat. I watched Father of the Bride and Father of the Bride II. Two of my favorites.
*Speaking of movies...Dev and I bought a few Disney movies for fear they will be putting them back in the "vault" soon. We bought Robin Hood, Snow White, and 101 Dalmatians among others. Our kids loved them when they were little. We still love to watch them! GLEE is because M worked so hard for me on her week off.
*For Literacy week we could dress as our favorite literary character. Cal was a ninja from Naruto. I was one of the boys in The Hockey Sweater- not so much because it is my favorite but because it was easy!

*She and her beautiful boys were here. So fun to see them.
*Frost picture from window of our garage.
*I have a new calling. Nursery. Okay! I had thought it might be a call to serve somewhere else... somewhere I'm not good at serving... so Nursery sounded even better when I was called!
*taught kindergarten 2 days this week. Man, they are so funny. One kid said "Miss T said we would have a lot of fun with you!" I said "Oh, and are you having fun?" "Not yet!" .funny.
*the ladybug came back. I found her wedged in the window frame. She ran around her old home among the lettuce for a few minutes. Then... she stopped. Can lady bugs have heart attacks?
*I went to buy my kids the olympic toys from McDonalds today and of course bought a meal to go with them. I came home and ate while I watched Oprah and Dr Oz talk about the causes of the Diabetes epidemic. Darn. It still tasted good.
*I was asked to give a short talk about Sister Hinckley and the Holy Woman that she was for Women's conference in March. I am enjoying reading about her life.
*I worked the am. The grade ones and their grade six reading buddies had a bake sale for Haiti today at recess. Everything was a quarter. According to my grade six 'sources' they made over $100. Way to go. I was able to fund a few little people who had forgotten to bring moola. I had pants that jingle-jangle-jingled today! A good cause.
